My aunt had given me and my brothers and sister each this knife in 1980. I used it everyday until one day I couldn't find it. I guess it got picked up with some garbage and thrown away. I was lost without it. I emailed my cousin since my aunt has since passed away and she gave me the address to order a new knife. I use this one nearly everyday.

You will never need another knife after purchasing this one. It does everything and stays sharp forever. So easy to clean up you can chop garlic and then clean it up and spread butter with it. The serrated edge is excellent for slicing bread, too. I guess you could call me a big fan of the Victorinox Steak Knife. I'd like to buy one for each of my friends.

I love this knife. Someone gave me a set of knives in a wooden block last year. They are Wilshire and there is no comparison. The Victorinox just slides easily through anything. My daughter, who is a professional chef in Toronto, introduced me to it. It's all she uses. I finally broke mine after a few years and just couldn't live without it. So when I found your site on line I was very happy. The price is also very good. The Wilshire has to be sharpened pretty well each time you use it, but not the Victorinox. I love it! The red handle even matches my kitchen. I am very happy with this purchase.
