I've used it to sharpen a number of serrated knives. I was surprised at how quickly it would put a razor sharp edge back on my worn out serrations. Follow the directions as the tapered shaft allows you to sharpen different radius serrations, but at the same time it is easy to change the original shape of them if you use longer strokes.
