I've had this set-up and running for about over a month now, at least 8 hours a day. No problems, no complaints. When I first saw the pump, I thought it might be undersized, but it's right-sized - quiet and reliable. It's easy to keep clean by back flushing from the fountain spout, with a garden hose every couple of weeks or so, when I change the fountain water.
