The dripper looks very nice in the bowl we decided to use. It did not fit in our shallow birdbath because of the pump, but we created a new place for it and the birds love it. It is fun to watch the hummingbirds and goldfinches bathe and drink.

This item is very durable and should last a long time, however be aware that you will need to pile rocks around it, because the base is a very small ball-shaped artificial rock, and this dragonfly will tip over very easily if slapped by a frolicking bird. Also, the pump cannot be turned down to a drip; even at low setting it runs pretty vigorously, and water from this tall unit splashes a lot. You need about a 25 inch diameter container to contain most of the splashing. If you have a large container and can put some rocks in it for stabilization, this is a very beautiful little water feature, with a nice water sound.
