I bought my son a Buck Ranger knife when he went to Somalia in the 1990's. He used it often and hard, breaking the blade in half cutting up a wild boar for a Recon Marine Party. When he retires soon from the service, he will get another great replacement.

I got this knife for a birthday present last year. I often go hiking and camping and kayaking, and I find this knife very useful for outdoor tasks. This knife is also a lot heavier than it looks, so I can also use it for larger and more demanding tasks such as skinning animals and such. I also like how this knife looks. I love how this is a classic looking knife. This knife also comes with a nice leather sheath. I really enjoy this knife, and I look forward to using it for years to come.
