Wish it held more peanuts. Grackles and Blue Jays figured it out pretty fast. I see some woodpeckers once on a while feeding from it.

I bought this feeder because of the large amount of grackles I had this year eating all of the peanuts I put out immediately. I wanted a feeder that only the chickadees, titmice, and my one lone woodpecker could use. It took about a week or two for them to figure it out (except for the chickadees - they don't use it). The blue jays have figured out how to hang on to the corner and reach around to eat and so have a few grackles, but overall they only visit it occasionally. I am very pleased with the construction and quality!

I bought this hoping only woodpeckers would use it but the blackbirds have figured it out easily and the red breasted woodpecker hasn't even tried it yet, though he is in my yard often.
