I see some woodpeckers once on a while feeding from it. Donna S. from Newark, DEI bought this feeder because of the large amount of grackles I had this year eating all of the peanuts I put out immediately. I wanted a feeder that only the chickadees, titmice, and my one lone woodpecker could use. It took about a week or two for them to figure it out (except for the chickadees - they don't use it). The blue jays have figured out how to hang on to the corner and reach around to eat and so have a few grackles, but overall they only visit it occasionally. I am very pleased with the construction and quality!
