While I liked the clean lines and simple style of this birdbath, I found the construction to be less than adequate. Because the birdbath is very light weight, I added stones to the tube to hold it down, but this caused the soldered joint to separate.

Base of unit is made of 2 pieces which separated immediately upon removing from box; I had to have it drilled as welding was insubstantial. Material is white metal, which is cheaper than copper and is only painted in a copper finish. But it was only 99. dollars, so it's not a big deal.
