Merry Products Round Folding Table Set with 4 Chairs

I absolutely love this table and chairs set! The key is that it folds up, chairs and all, into a compact shape with wheels. Ingenious! My husband did say that some of the assembly instructions were backwards, but it didn't take him long to figure it out. We also stained it -- maybe unnecessarily? -- for extra protection from the rain.

I like the overall shape/design of the set, but there must not be ANY quality control as the pieces are being made. Every single piece has nicks, dents & digs. There are spots where the wood didn't absorb the stain. The worst was the center piece for the top of the table. 2 places as big as a full inch where wood splintered & broke off when the hole for the umbrella was cut & they had the NERVE to use wood filler & then stained it orange! which didn't match the wood color. Also a 3/4 inch long dent that was about 1/4inch deep on the top edge of same piece. The set was packed very well, so none of the defects happened in transit. This was done in the factory. Inexcusable. When I contacted your retail outlet, you were responsive, but the manufacturer "b. s.'d" me that they were sending a replacement piece for 2 1/2 weeks. Didn't get it until several days after I sent the email photos. The replacement top piece also has a small dent almost in same place as the 1st set, spots that weren't stained & a minor splintered edge. I never expected or demanded fine furniture, but this is really shoddy work.
