I hesitated to pay so much for a bird bath but they're all costly...I was so pleased with this bird bath. It's much larger than the cheaper ones. I had a white bath for decades and got this dark one and it makes a huge difference. I feel more tranquil looking at it and among the plants, it looks a bluish gray. It is beautiful! I highly recommend it!

It is lightweight and easy to clean. I had a heavy one before and the inside of it peeled. I like the fact that is won't peel and the color was perfect for my outside patio area. Plus, it has a texture so the birds have some grip.

I was surprised that "black granite" referred to the finish rather than the material. However, I am pleased with the appearance. The means of weighting the bird bath is clever and very effective. Overall, I am very pleased with the aesthetics and the cost.
