This bird feeder is a very nice design. It is sturdily constructed and seems to have a durable finish. Unfortunately, if you have squirrels, the design provides plenty for the squirrel to grab onto. I was surprised how many feet a squirrel can actually jump. One other note; I find that with these types of feeders, the birds end up dumping a considerable amount of feed on the ground.
