Great 'anti-squirrel' bird feeder. Only drawback might be the cylindrical tubes that the feed has to pass through to fill the bottom 2 seed holders....works great so far but as it gets older it might become hard to fill

By far the best feeder ever made. My former Hyde Squirrel Dilemma bird feeder had to be replaced after 15 years because a bear crushed it. Otherwise it would still be functioning. Prior to this type feeder I had numerous others that just didn't keep the squirrels out. This is a great product!

I had the same model for a few years before it fell in a storm and shattered the feed chamber. It is very easy to fill and the triple chamber allows birds to feed at three levels even as the seed is consumed. Even with a dome over the feeder, the squirrels still find a way to make a leap three feet from a limb and grab on to the protective grid and somehow empty the seed quickly. But other than not being able to totally solve the squirrel problem, I am very pleased with item.

It is difficult to get the seed to the middle and bottom compartments because the center tube does not release it into them. So it needs refilling more often because they only get half-full. Have 3 other Hyde feeders but they don't have a center tube. Excellent squirrel deterrent design and most birds seem to prefer this design over others I've tried.
