The Weekender series uses a thick, high grade, cold weather resistant PVC vinyl to create a more economical line of Truck-bedz for the weekend warrior. All Truck-bedz come standard with 2 stage Boston inflatable boat valves, rather than the flimsy valves used on most air mattresses. For casual camping this thing rocks! It fit great in the back of my 06 Tacoma. The compressor worked well both inflating and deflating. With a good sleeping bag, and this mattress, it was an excellent night!

This mattress is very easy to unpack and blow up. The pump attaches to an outlet in the car, and inflates the mattress in less than 5 minutes. It also deflates quickly using the same pump. Be aware that the mattress does not exactly fit the 2006 Tacoma Double Cab short bed. It's close, but it hangs over the tail gate a bit and the shape near the top head of the bed is too wide, but it fits pretty close.

This has the typical downsides of an air mattress. While it fits nicely in the bed of the truck, if two people sleep on it when one person moves the other one will be disturbed. A much better option is using cots. If you elect not to use a cot a thermarest pad would work better.
