This is the best multi-port bird feeder I've ever tried. You fill it with seed (just like other feeders), but the amount of seed on each of the 3 levels goes down independent of the other levels. So, you don't wind up with fresh seed at the top, and old (mildewed) seed on the bottom. There are a total of 12 feeding ports (or, stations) for one feeder. It has been so popular, we have bought a second one. I would highly recommend this feeder.

This is the third one I have owned, Can no longer buy it at local store, so I am pleased to find it on-line. It is the only feeder to allow 12 birds to still feed when the seed level is low! They last about a year, probably more if the deer did'nt keep knocking them against the post for a free snack..

This is the 2nd. Perky Pet Grand view Wild bird feeder that I have owned; the 1st. was taken by a bear. The way that it is compartmentalized provides that all the feeding stations maintain more-or-less the same level of seed throughout. One hint, bend the wire holder so that the top cannot slip off.
Well worth the price.

It's been the best bird feeder I've ever had. The first one has lasted for years but now it's beginning to be a bit worn so I bought two of the same. It takes a good amount of seeds, it's clear so it's easy to see when it needs filling and it has a enough feeding stations.

I found this feeder to be flawed in several ways.The design of seed ports only allows seed to enter the bottom chambers when top chamber is full to the top of the seed port. The seed ports themselves are too narrow to allow the seed to flow from one chamber to another. You have to use a poker to unclog. Then you have to wiggle the tower in order for the seed to evenly distribute in each chamber. When I am trying to keep feed supplied to wild birds in snow and wind, I don't want to have to freeze myself with all the above in the process. I would not recommend this product.
