Product Description:

Based upon vintage military field timepieces, this watch combines classic looks, with completely modern mechanics. Precision Japanese quartz movement with a long-life silver oxide battery. White numbers and highly luminous hands are set against a black dial for ease of viewing, day or night. The watch face is guarded by an anti-scratch sapphire crystal, while the rugged stainless steel case, and screw-down crown protect the movement,and provide water resistance to 200 meters. I ordered this watch for my husband who had lost his beloved LLBean field watch. It looks EXACTLY like his old watch. We put one of his old watchbands on it and now it really is just like the old one. He loves it!!

The description indicates luminescent hands for viewing at night, but they are not. Also, the watch band is olive green in the picture but is actually a very light tan. The watch itself works fine.
