I like my classic bird feeder very much! It is sturdy and repels the squirrels. I had previously purchased a feeder from a local store. Their feeder was smaller and had larger holes so some food fell out. I gave theirs to the wild bird thrift shop and I hope they can use it.

My new feeder is a big hit with my backyard birds, especially cardinals. They are not heavy enough to close the openings to the food. The feeder has brought cardinals to my yard from other yards and they do not have to share any food with the squirrels any more. The other typical small birds love it too! The only way that it completely deters the squirrels is by hanging it somehow so that it hangs far from it's holder. Otherwise, the smart little guys reach it from the shepherd's crook we have it hanging from, bump it, spilling the seed on the ground where they snatch it up. At least they don't interfere too much with the birds, who love this feeder. Overall, I'm still happy with the product!
