Every Droll Yankees feeder I bought has been great and so is this one. I have some that are twenty years old and still in great condition. I really like this one.

Virginia B. from Mishawaka, IN
I have had many feeders over the years. Squirrels have always managed to get into them. If they couldn't get into the feeder they would eventually knock it down to get the seed. The Yankee Flipper was an amusement ride for them.
When the battery got low and slowed down they could still hang on and get the seed. It was fun to watch them. They are ingenious creatures. So far they have not been able to get past the baffle and it is far enough from the trees and fence that they cannot jump on top. I am sure they will keep trying until one of them succeeds.
The Jagunda was relatively easy to put together and the auger was easy to use. The earth is now frozen so I don't know how easy it will be to remove in the spring. I have no difficulty refilling it and all the birds feed at it, even Mourning Doves and Juncos which are supposed to be ground feeders. It is rather pricey but I would recommend it. I haven't had it long enough, and we are experiencing below zero weather,so I haven't cleaned it yet. I don't anticipate a problem as the material looks very easy to clean and the whole feeder is quite attractive.

Replacing the bird feed is awkward. Unless you have a step stool or ladder adjacent to the feeder, a person of average height must dismantle the plastic feed holder from the pole.
