This cone does keep the squirrel's out of the feeder on a pole. There is no need to take down pole to attachment. It is a great buy and good service!

This item saves me from having nasty squirrels climb up my iron shepherd's pole that hold my yellow finch feeder. The squirrels are not able to climb the pole any longer. Last year without the baffler the squirrel ate through the plastic completely around the feeder and broke it in half. I am happy with the baffler.

It works perfectly! I have one on all 7 of our bird feeder poles and it is easy to install. The Baffler is not fixed to the pole but rests on the enclosed pole ring. Therefore, the squirrels can't get a grip on the baffler because it tips slightly. The Baffler makes it fun to watch them climb up and then slide down the bird feeder pole.

This baffle not only works but also can survive our inclement weather. I previously had two expensive good-looking plastic baffles which perished in our high winds and sub-zero temperatures.
I added a couple of sheet metal screws to make this device more robust and it looks like it will last forever - poor squirrels!!
