Thus far this is an excellent feeder, however, when I contacted backyard chirper that no hanger was included, I was advised that a hanger was not part of the feeder. Therefore, I had to purchase wire and hooks to make the hanger myself.

This the second of this bird feeder that I own. The suspension chain is a nuisance to work with. I replaced the chain with a custom made brass hook rod to make it easier to replenish the feed and clean the bird feeder. The feeder is durable - the first feeder is at least 15 years old and in good shape.
