Some bird feeders are no match for acrobatic squirrels

Here are Backyard Chirper, we are no stranger to the persistent squirrel. As anyone who owns a bird feeder can tell you, squirrels will not stop until they’ve eaten from your feeders, even if you have things to stop them. There are a number of inexpensive ways to stop squirrels from getting to your feeder, but something they just don’t work.

We’ve had this video of any amazingly smart yet typical squirrel who figured out a pretty extensive obstacle course on the blog before, but it’s always apt to return to this as a reminder of we’re standing up against.

If you’re wondering how to get squirrels away from your feeder, you can buy squirrel-proof feeders, put up a baffle, grease the poles of your feeders, attach a slinky over the poles, use really wide poles, adding cayenne pepper and many other things.

Check out this video the sneaky squirrel and tell us how you keep squirrels away from your feeders.
